The ACHA Health Foundation

The ACHA Health Foundation proudly supports Ashford, Flinders Private and The Memorial Hospitals through providing funds for medical equipment, facility upgrades and other programs.

The ACHA Health Foundation is an incorporated body and is a registered charity where donations are tax deductible.  Two members of the ACHA Board of directors are Foundation Trustees. The ACHA Foundation is chaired by Dr Rev Tony Nancarrow and supported by fellow Trustees Drs Phil Munt and Bronte Ayers.

The ACHA Health Foundation plays a vital role in supporting ACHA staff and purchasing much needed capital equipment.

The Foundation’s success is reliant on the generous support of individuals. Most donations are received from individuals and families, in many cases in memory of their loved ones.

Recent donations to our hospitals from the Foundation including those from in-memorium donations, bequests and gifts in kind have been:

  • Patient Electric Recliner chairs at Ashford Hospital
  • Blood pressure equipment at The Memorial Hospital
  • T-shirts for Cardiac rehabilitation classes at Flinders Private Hospital
  • Diabetes services at Ashford hospital
  • Staff education for relevant courses
  • TV & DVD's for oncology patients at Flinders Private Hospital
  • Electric beds for patients at Ashford Hospital

The ACHA Health Foundation Trustees sincerely thank everyone who supports the organisation in this manner and looks forward to ensuring that the Foundation's good work continues into the future.

Donation envelopes are avilable in each ward or from the ACHA Health Foundation Office. For further information or to make a donation to the Foundation, please contact the ACHA Health Foundation Office on (08) 8275 3587.
